Confluence Import

The Confluence plugin lets you scan Confluence and import pages as bookmarks into one or more workspaces.

Prerequisites

  • Organization admin access
  • Plan includes the Confluence import feature
  • Confluence credentials:
    • Base URL (your Confluence site)
    • Username
    • API token

How it works

  1. You start an import by providing Confluence credentials.
  2. Linkinize verifies the credentials and starts a background scan.
  3. When the scan finishes, you review the discovered pages.
  4. You select which pages to import and which workspace(s) to import into.

Start a new import

  1. Open your organization.
  2. Go to Plugins -> Confluence.
  3. Create a new import and enter your Confluence URL/username/token.
  4. Submit to start the scan.

If the connection check fails, confirm the URL and credentials.

Review and import

In the review screen:

  • Select/deselect links before importing.
  • Choose one or more destination workspaces.

Quota notes:

  • Imports consume bookmark quota.
  • If you import into multiple workspaces, the total added bookmarks is: selected_links * selected_workspaces

Troubleshooting

  • "Connection Failed": URL/username/token is wrong, or Confluence is not reachable.
  • Import blocked by quota: reduce selection or import into fewer workspaces, or upgrade your plan.
