Invitations
Organization admins can invite users to join the organization.
Invitations are email-based and use a one-time token link.
Create invitations
When inviting, you choose:
- One or more recipient emails (up to 10 per request)
- Optional workspaces the user should join after accepting
- The workspace permission (
ADMIN,PUBLISHER, orVIEWER) applied to those workspaces
Notes:
- You cannot invite an email that is already a member of the organization.
- Invitations do not automatically make someone an organization admin; an existing org admin can promote them after they join.
- Pending invitations count toward your plan's user limit (seats).
Accept an invitation
From the invitation link:
- If the user already has a Linkinize account with that email, they accept and are added to the organization.
- If they do not have an account yet, they create one (name + password) and then accept.
After acceptance:
- The user is added to the organization.
- If the invitation included workspaces, the user is added to those workspaces with the selected permission.
- Any other pending invitations for the same email in the same organization are removed.
The accept flow redirects to the login page after completion.
Cancel invitations
Organization admins can cancel pending invitations. Canceling deletes the invitation so the token link can no longer be redeemed.
Expired/invalid invitations
If an invitation token is already processed, canceled, or unknown, Linkinize treats it as expired/invalid.
