Organization Overview
An organization is the top-level container in Linkinize. It owns:
- Users (organization membership)
- Workspaces
- Plan limits (seats, workspaces, bookmarks)
- Identity plugins like SAML/SCIM (if enabled on your plan)
Roles and access
Linkinize has two layers of access:
- Organization admin: can manage org settings, users, and workspaces.
- Workspace permissions: control what a member can do inside a specific workspace.

Common organization management tasks
Rename the organization
Organization admins can update the organization name from the organization overview/settings.
Delete the organization
Organization deletion removes workspaces and their data.
Notes:
- You must confirm your password to delete an organization.
- If your organization has an active paid plan, you may need to cancel/downgrade before deletion.
Plan limits at the organization level
Limits are enforced per organization based on the active plan:
- Users (seats): counts active members; pending invitations also count toward your ability to invite.
- Workspaces: you cannot create more than the plan allows.
If you hit a limit, Linkinize will block actions like creating a workspace or inviting additional users.
