Public Pages
Public Pages let you share a workspace's links with anyone on the internet.
When enabled, your workspace is available at:
https://linkinize.io/<slug>
Before you enable a public page
Enabling a public page makes the workspace accessible to anyone with the link.
- Do not publish sensitive or private links.
- If you need access control, invite specific people to the workspace instead.
Settings
Public page settings include:
- Active (enable/disable)
- URL slug
- Theme
- Logo
- Description (header)
- Footer
- Theme options (layout/background)
Slug rules
Slugs:
- Must be ASCII
alpha_dash(letters/numbers plus-and_) - Must be unique across public pages
Linkinize checks slug availability while you type.
Themes
Search
Search theme is optimized for browsing and searching a larger set of links.
- Supports layouts:
dashboardandlist - Includes a search box (searches bookmark name and description)
- Supports background selection
Biolink
Biolink theme is optimized for a simple "links page".
- Renders a list of links
- Supports background selection
Links and click tracking
Public pages link out using Linkinize short links:
https://linkinize.io/s/<code>
This keeps outbound URLs consistent and enables click tracking.
Search engine visibility
On the public site domain, Linkinize serves a robots.txt and sitemap to allow indexing (except in staging environments).
Disable a public page
Disabling removes public access to the page.
- Your bookmarks remain in the workspace.
- The public URL no longer serves the workspace.
